Targeted Curriculum

The Targeted Curriculum initiative provides another avenue to enhance public education through curriculum that is centered on our Tracy community. The Targeted Curriculum initiative establishes targeted programs including curriculum resources and makes them available to Tracy teachers to incorporate into their lesson plans. At this time the Targeted Curriculum topic areas are:

• Tracy's History - working with the Tracy Historical Museum and Westside Pioneer Association to promote access for more students to visit the Museum, Historic Lammersville School and take advantage of other historical resources in and around Tracy.
• Tracy's Nature - working with local environmental/natural resource agencies, organizations and groups to develop curriculum resources and observation of the unique natural Delta, grassland and farmland, and foothill environments surrounding Tracy.
