Current Grant Cycle - Fall 2008

The TRAQC Educational Foundation will be accepting applications for classroom grants for Tracy History curriculum support for 3rd Grade Teachers in Tracy area public schools from August 28, 2008 through September 8, 2008. Awards are scheduled to be issued by early October.

2008 grant awards will target Tracy History only, and specifically 3rd grade classes for registration support for the Historic Lammersville Pioneer School program and Tracy Historical Museum tour, when no other school/district funding is available.

3rd Grade Teachers within the Tracy Unified School District and Jefferson School District are eligible to apply for grants. Prior recipients must have complied with all grant terms, including submission of final report, to be eligible to apply. Complete applications must be received by the Foundation by September 8, 2008 to be accepted. Grants will not go to personnel, capital improvements, major equipment, teacher research projects or extracurricular clubs. It is the objective to fund all application requests. However, if there are more requests than can be funded, awardees will be selected by lottery from eligible applications.
