About

The TRAQC Educational Foundation (TEF) is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation formed in 2000 to provide direct benefit to public education services and programs in Tracy. Our program priorities focus on the Tracy community, and specifically its history and natural environments.

Our community provides a valuable learning ground, and means for our youth to participate in the community in which they live. The Foundation’s focus on Tracy – its history and natural environments – presents a unique approach for our students to learn about, connect with and contribute to their community, while at the same time supporting district and state curriculum standards.

We partner with the West Side Pioneer Association and Tracy Historical Museum on local history programs for youth, and we are the only local organization supporting local environmental education.

The Foundation is run by an all volunteer Board of Directors of local teachers and community representatives. Foundation Members help develop community support and outreach. Ongoing support for the Foundation comes from local community giving, corporate donors, and grants from other philanthropic foundations.
